Dr. Dressler conducts periodic seminars about LASIK in her office. (Click on Map and Directions if desired.) At each seminar, Dr. Dressler will show slides and discuss the LASIK procedure, as well as respond to individuals’ questions. In addition, to give perspective on LASIK from the patient’s point of view, at each seminar, one of Dr. Dressler’s receptionists (Janet or Brian), each of whose vision has been corrected to better than 20/20 by Dr. Dressler using LASIK, will relate their personal experience and impressions of LASIK.

These seminars can be useful for people who like the camaraderie of a small group setting in order to learn more about LASIK (and sometimes others think to ask questions which they may be interested in but forget to ask). However, all LASIK patients will still need to have a free personal LASIK consultation, where LASIK discussions are individualized and important measurements are made in preparation for the LASIK procedure.
